Astrak’s TerraTrack Plus proves that it is made of tough stuff

TerraTrack Plus is renowned throughout Europe as being the premier rubber track system available on the market today.

Everyone in the plant hire industry already knows about the incredible anti-detracking and anti-vibration properties of these innovative rubber tracks but how many know about how hard-wearing they are?

TerraTrack Plus tracks feature toughened steel links linked by continuously wound anti-rust high tensile steel cords encased in a rubber carcass which provides increased durability and performance.

The premium-grade rubber compound used throughout the carcass has been specifically formulated to be highly resistant to the abrasive environments found on many construction sites. This property makes TerraTrack Plus extraordinarilylong-lasting when compared to standard rubber tracks.

Independent testing during the summer of 2020 confirmed that TerraTrack Plus tracks reduce the vibration endured by both machine and operator by an amazing 38%.

M-Tec Engineering (UK) Ltd fitted a set of TerraTrack Plus tracks to one of their customer’s 5 tonne CAT excavators. The firm recently shared some photographs showing the current condition of the tracks after heavy use in extreme conditions during 2020.

The company believe TerraTrack Plus is a remarkably hard-wearing rubber track and when factoring in the unique anti-detracking and anti-vibration qualities, and is unbeatable value for plant hire companies and individual owner/operators alike.

Jim Moon from M-Tec Engineering commented:

“I am pleased to say they look to be performing well and our customer has had no issues. I always recommend the TerraTrack Plus product for this particular customer, due to their hard-working environment and we have now supplied and fitted several of these tracks, on various sized machines and all have performed well.”
