Astrak Launches a Free Activity Booklet for Young Builders

Astrak

Undercarriage specialists, Astrak, recently launched a free fun booklet for young builders to enjoy during the summer holidays.

With thousands of people destined to holiday in Britain this summer, the prospect of being stuck in slow-moving traffic with bored kids sitting in the back seats is enough to drive parents to despair. We have all been there!

The team at Astrak decided that perhaps they can help avoid the arguments and the inevitable chorus of  “are we there yet?” by creating a fun and educational booklet packed with construction-themed activities especially for young builders & engineers.

As well as featuring some information on construction site safety, the booklet is packed with fun games and puzzles including word searches, mazes, colouring-in, spot the difference and a big focus on ‘what can you spot’ which is ideal for the long car journeys. There is even a ‘what can you spot’ certificate which can be downloaded from the Astrak website for the eagle-eyed kids who get maximum points. Last but certainly not least, there’s a cool pull-out poster for putting up on the wall.

“We think our activity booklet is going to be a hit with youngsters up and down the country. It has a little bit of everything for children to enjoy during yet another unusual summer. I hope that as well as enjoying the puzzles, they will also learn a little more about construction machinery and, in particular, site safety, which is something we think is essential to share with kids of all ages.”

– Group Sales Director Martyn Pointer

The booklet follows on from the company’s release last year of downloadable activity sheets and mobile games that helped keep children of all ages entertained during the stricter periods of lock down and remain incredibly popular to this day.

The activity booklet can be requested by filling out the form on the company’s kids page at https://astrakgroup.co.uk/fun-book/
