PLANTWORX 2025: EFFICIENT THERMAL MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION MACHINERY

Heating and cooling systems from Eberspächer guarantee comfort and safety in construction machinery, at all temperatures. The thermal management expert will be presenting its comprehensive portfolio for electric, hybrid and conventional drives at Plantworx, Newark Showground from 23rd to 25th September (Stand DB-30).

With 160 years of experience, Eberspächer develops systems that efficiently heat and cool the vehicle interior.

Specialists in thermal management systems, Eberspächer have developed a proven solution: compact diesel-powered heaters that provide fast, efficient cabin warmth without needing to run the machine’s engine.

By fitting an Eberspächer heater into plant machinery, operators can stay warm while switching off large-displacement engines that would otherwise burn through fuel at idle.

The heater uses only a minimal amount of diesel, dramatically reducing idle time, fuel waste, and overall machine wear.

The benefits for plant owners and operators are clear:

● Fuel savings: Reduce diesel use during idle periods by up to 80%.

● Reduced engine hours: Prolong the life of machinery and lower servicing costs.

● Sustainability impact: Contribute directly to Scope 1 emissions reductions for owners, and Scope 3 reductions for plant hire companies.

● ESG alignment: Support sustainability reporting and help meet emissions targets under tightening environmental regulations.

All Eberspaecher HVAC units have the same design and dimensions in the version for electric, hybrid or conventional vehicles. The best-selling Falkon, for example, measures 297 x 432 x 167 mm as an EHVAC, EHHVAC, HVAC or heat pump. EHVAC systems are an uncomplicated solution for air conditioning the cabin with an electric heater and compressor. As a hybrid version, the Falkon EHHVAC uses the waste heat from the energy storage system and drive for heating and provides support with its electric PTC heater if required. Customers can therefore easily use them in all existing and future vehicle designs.

This is how Eberspaecher is seamlessly shaping the transformation to e-mobility.
