MachineMax Embark on Strategic Partnership with INTSITE

MachineMax

The strategic partnership between MachineMax and INTSITE aims to use video telematics and contextual machine data to create a digital monitoring solution with a view to improving machine safety, performance, fuel efficiency and CO2 reduction.

INTSITE’s AI and Deep Learning to optimize the machinery at the center of a worksite, transforming the performance of industries focused on heavy machinery, amongst construction and mining safety and performance are enhanced as the machinery becomes more intelligent, using computer-vision and deep learning technology.

The MachineMax equipment management platform and universal telematics sensors for off-highway fleet, work with customers to measure key metrics which include: utilisation, productivity, idling time, fuel consumption, location, and operating hours. This working in conjunction with INTSITE’s camera-based solution will give an all-around, accountable overview of a machine.

The machine-vision technology solves numerous problems on-site, for example, the camera footage can detect the way a machine is being used so it is able to identify idling and the reasons behind it which will be supported through the real-time MachineMax data. It further detects key safety measures such as the proximity of a pedestrian to a machine, the machine operating at an angle as well as predictive maintenance through irregularities on the machine. Therefore, this gives site teams visual context to the MachineMax data and a further layer of exposure to their sites.

MachineMax CGO, Jennifer Thomson said:

“I am extremely excited about this partnership with INTSITE. The idea of augmenting real-time machine data with visual analytics to improve safety, productivity, sustainability and operations is the next big step toward digital sites. We think that by combining this data we will be able to enhance human capabilities, using AI to combine sets of data and make inferences which aren’t inherently obvious whilst on the job.”

Christopher Webster, INTSITE’s Head of Client Services said:

“This is a fantastic opportunity for MachineMax and INTSITE. The partnership with MachineMax, not only cements our commitment to the UK mining and construction sectors, but our unequivocal passion to help the sectors understand how great technology, delivered simply, can play an important role in safety, efficiency and operational downtime reduction on heavy plant and cranes.

MachineMax are excited to partner with INTSITE as a strategic partner as it will enhance the safety and efficiency of heavy machinery through telematics and computer-vision technology, all through a single integrated platform.
