The Liebherr LTM 11200-9.1 is the strongest telescopic mobile crane available on the market. The machine boasts the longest telescopic boom in the world; when fully extended, it can reach an astounding length of 100 metres. This impressive increase in capacity is realised through the Y-telescopic boom suspension.

The eight-part boom is fully automatically extendable and can be stopped and fixed at various lengths. With the combination of its lifting ability and boom length, the Liebherr LTM 11200-9.1 is best suited for large-scale construction projects, such as wind turbine erection – an increasingly more common sight as the world moves towards renewable energy.
Mobile cranes
This powerful machine is able to lift 1,200 metric tonnes, yet it is also able to manoeuvre around a construction site thanks to its huge tyres and a double cab truck. The LTM 11200-9.1 is able to drive around a site with most of its construction equipment on board, and is adapted to areas with relatively narrow openings, as it can fit in a driving width of 3 metres.

Crane engine | Liebherr’s 6-cylinder, turbodiesel, 240 kW |
The Liebherr LTM 11200-9.1 features active, speed-dependent rear axle steering, meaning the crane is able to navigate tight bends with relative ease. The machine is adaptable and can be configured economically with different states in order to be transported at a low cost all over the world.

Counterweights
The dimensions and weights of the ballast plates are adapted to the low bed trailers on the machine. The model has improved safety features due to a lower working height thanks to the large-scale ballast distribution with two ballast stacks on each side.
Flexibility in a construction site
Mobile cranes such as the Liebherr LTM 11200-9.1 are favoured on construction sites due to their mobility. The machine is adapted to different terrains, making it a truly versatile piece of kit. The Liebherr LTM 11200-9.1 is nimble compared to other types of cranes, with significantly shorter set up times than lattice boom cranes. In 2007, the LTM 11200-9.1 received the heavy-lifting industry’s Development of the Year award for being the most powerful crane in the world – a well-deserved award when the crane can lift a weight equivalent of 12 adult blue whales.
